First and foremost, I realize that my blogging has been a bit off but I'm juggling a lot.
I just started a new semester of school, I'm the PR of a new (and very busy) organization, my boss depends on me as if I'm the sole person he can run to, and my love life is crying for some peace.
Any who, this post is SO late but SO necessary. My beautiful friend Febeh alias Christina Dolce recently turned 21 and I was flattered when she invited me and a couple of her friends to dine with her at ALERO in order to celebrate her amazing stay on this Earth so far.

If you know me, you know that j'adore Alero! I love Messican food! I love Messicans because of their food.
I got to the restaurant on time (I am rarely on time unless it involves work or school) and sat down to an array of beautiful people; being the extrovert that I am, I began to introduce myself. :)

While we waited on everyone to arrive, we were given delicious tortillas and salsa to start us off; someone ordered hot queso for us which was equally delicious.
I cannot tell a lie, the service wasn't up to par! We had orders flying everywhere and misplaces orders.haha. I expect as much from the U St. location (I frequent the ALERO at Dupont)
Roseline opted for the chicken fajitas.

Overall, the food was delicious and the conversations we had made it all the better!
The Cha Cha Slide came on and our whole party danced right in the middle of the restaurant. Saying it was epic would be a horrible understatement.
I managed to get away from the group for a second to inform our waiter that it was Febeh's birthday, because ALERO has a special cheer for birthdays.
Sorry about the lighting! I still don't get how to operate it that well...

| Can 21 look any better? I doubt it...
I had an important business call during the dinner, and stepped out. When I got back my food was GONE. Saying that I was upset was a big understatement especially because I didn't even eat half of it. *sigh*
Oh yeah, let's not the disturbed man that followed us on the train...(you can hear me responding to him) He was too close to comfort. I had a lot of fun and felt blessed that was able to bring in a new year of life for an amazing woman. Be sure to check out Febeh's amazing blog 'La Beaute Naturelle Noire' here
xoxo,
