The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl is an original web series by director/writer/actress Issa Rae who graduated from Stanford University and took film-making courses at New York Film Academy and UCLA.

 I stumbled upon these videos around March and I felt that I should share it with you all.

Maybe it's just me, but this reminds me of my life...so much so that it's a bit awkward.

Attack of the Barbies

I was never really big on the whole Nicki Minaj, Barbie movement and with each day that passes I have another reason to dislike her minions.

I really just want to know whose son this is. Is he joking or is he being serious?

A Wanna-Be Thug Learns His Lesson

SO many young boys have learned the habit or pretending to be thugs via Facebook. They take pictures flaunting hundreds of dollars, liquor, and claim to do things that children their age shouldn't be doing. Well...in this case, the young boy in question attempted to do just that. However, his strict uncle stumbled upon his Facebook and...well...this video will explain itself.
