Women's Wardrobe Must-Haves

  1. The PEA COAT. Too me, it's like a modern-day trench coat. They come in colors ranging from white to black. You can NEVER go wrong with one in your closet.
  2. A stylish pair of flats to give your feet a break. Flats range from your basic solid colors, to ethnic designs and patterns.
  3. A button-up white blouse. Something about a sophisticated white shirt does SO much for a woman's look.
  4. A cardigan...or two...or five. You can never go wrong with a cardigan. You can choose a loud and vibrant color or something sleek and discrete. You can wear it on a date, to church, school, and work.
  5. A sexy camisole. For a hint of sexiness and sophistication, wear this essential underpinning with a jacket or a cardigan.
  6. A pencil skirt. It's almost self explanatory.
  7. A pair of fitted jeans. Have you ever seen that movie about the traveling pants and how it fit all the friends? Well...that was irrelevant...but you should have that ONE pair of jeans that hugs your curves just right.
  8. The right accessories. This can range from a bright and flashy diamond necklace to a cotton bracelet you bought from a vintage store. Accessories help to compliment and complete an outfit.
  9. The perfect pair of pumps. I mean...seriously. What's life without a fabulous pair of heels to make you feel feminine and in charge?!
  10. A big tote that's perfect for any occasion. Don't feel like carrying a purse or rocking the fanny pack? Then a tote's a good option. Besides, they go for really low prices at Old Navy.
  11. V-Necks!!!! The color and fabric make no difference. Something about a woman in a v-neck is amazing...maybe it's our subtle features...but I've never seen a person go wrong with a v-neck.
  12.  A little black dress. It's so unlike me to fall into the trap of the "little black dress" but I've realized that sooner or later I'd need one or three in my closet.
  13. Scarves. Could these fall under accessory? Either way, they add zest and flare to any outfit.

xoxo,
Miss Nwoka
